The use of green chemical technology in our processes enables us to eliminate the common toxic environment and the dusty, sticky mess involved in traditional refinishing. Much of the extended labor time is also eliminated passing an excellent savings onto our customers.
Our products and techniques are the keys that enable us to attain a gorgeous, long-lasting cabinet restoration which we guarantee with confidence. We indeed deliver the best of both worlds – quality and cost-effectiveness.
We Use a Three-Step System:
1. Cleaning: All wood surfaces are vigorously cleaned to remove grease, oil, food & smudges left behind from cooking & oiling the woodwork. We use a pleasant smelling industrial grade citrus product and LOTS OF ELBOW GREASE.
2. Repair: Nicks, scratches, and damage from peeling or flaking from water and heat are touched up or filled in with appropriate stains, colors & wood fillers. At this point, various finishes may be applied to the most damaged areas to create a strong foundation.
3. Gleam Guard Re-Seal: We apply six to eight coats of our final finish formula to restore a “like new” & lasting appearance. (Our finish is unlike anything you’ve seen or worked with.)
Similar to fine furniture workers, we use Microfiber clothes for application to avoid runs, brush marks, overspray, or fog in your house. (Absolutely NO spray tent in your kitchen.) Our “scent free” acrylic finish bonds to the current surface making it smooth and easy to clean. It’s available in matte, semi-gloss or high-gloss luster.
This process enhances the wood grain and makes cleaning a breeze. With just a little maintenance, your wood surfaces can stay looking like they’ve been lovingly hand-polished for many years to come! (See Care Guide)
Our process works well with all traditionally stained finishes as well as custom-matched pickled, glazed, whitewashed and painted surfaces.
“Restoring the original beauty of your fine woodwork.”
